Once you bring your new kitty home, chances will be that he or she will hide for a few days. That’s why we suggest providing your pet with plenty of adjustment time. Start by having your new cat hang out in just one room until they feel safe and begin to explore,
as described in the “Adjusting to Home” section of our Kitten Pack. Once your cat feels safe and comfortable, he or she will explore the house, full of curiosity and intrigue. It’s important to give them their space and not to try and force them. They will respect and love you for this.
