We’re so excited to help you every step of the way in building a life with your new pal. Our top goal is to ensure that the newest member of your family is as healthy and happy as possible. Depending on where your senior dog was before you brought them home, adjustment time can vary. A pet adopted from a comfortable home will adjust to their new home with you relatively quickly, but every pet varies. A pet adopted from a shelter–a rescue pet–may have more anxiety and fear to overcome before the healing and bonding can begin.
